Examined Life
I recently watched Examined Life which introduces you to inspiring philosophers.
I enjoyed the movie, but my favourite part was with Slavoj Zizek.

Happy New Year! This year I’m hoping to spend more time blogging, travelling, reading, skating, developing, designing, filming, and taking photos. I’ve decided to do a 365 photo set on Flickr, which involves taking a photo every day for a year. I’d like to add useful tutorials soon, but I’m currently busy with a client’s new website and I’m refreshing my old sites. http://www.flickr.com/photos/vel_lanquibo
I’m finally using Twitter, which I signed up for a year ago. It’s surprising how many people tweet a day. You can follow me at http://twitter.com/veltronic
The inspiring last lecture by Randy Pausch, a CS professor from CMU, who is dying from pancreatic cancer, entitled “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo
I’ve been using Delicious for bookmarking sites and articles since August 15, 2006. I now have 3428 bookmarks…which is way too many to handle. Delicious has done a great job on making users dependent on it for popular links. In some cases users have racked up thousands of useless bookmarks. I’ve decided to stop using it and just subscribe to the RSS feeds of my favourite sites. This should help me stay focused and be more productive.
Jason Fried’s article “Start a business, not a startup” on the 37signals company blog Signal vs. Noise is worth reading for new entrepreneurs.
