I decided to redo my sites and to include technology related posts on my new blog. I’ll be reviewing various electronic devices, software, and web services. I’ll provide tips and resources to help you solve common technical problems. Occasionally I’ll post interesting links.
Sanctuary Skatepark’s website is online. It is Thunder Bay’s only indoor skateboard park. I’m currently helping with the construction of the park. The grand opening is in a few weeks, on November 19th.

I’ve launched the website for 4Fourteen Skate Shop. They were my favourite skateboard shop when I was younger, but unfortunately they closed a few years ago. I was glad to hear that they recently reopened business. I was honoured that they asked me to make their website.

Today I launched a website for the Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay. I made their website with an open source content management system. I was responsible for website development, quality assurance analysis, and staff training.
Happy New Year! This year I’m hoping to spend more time blogging, travelling, reading, skating, developing, designing, filming, and taking photos. I’ve decided to do a 365 photo set on Flickr, which involves taking a photo every day for a year. I’d like to add useful tutorials soon, but I’m currently busy with a client’s new website and I’m refreshing my old sites. http://www.flickr.com/photos/vel_lanquibo
Yesterday I officially graduated from Multimedia Production at Confederation College. I’ve decided to take most of the summer off, since the last 3 years have been all work and school. I’ll begin looking for work or clients in August.
Dave Shea has reviewed my design submission from 2 years ago (May 2/06) which was done as a class assignment. It didn’t make the final list, but he was kind enough to include it in the other submissions. My 2006 submission is titled “Equation Fiasco” – Visit CSS Zen Garden.
I’m finished my multimedia internship as a Student Business Advisor for Student Connections Confederation College. It was a great experience and Student Connections has offered to hire me as a SC Mentor this Fall. However, I’m considering other careers in Thunder Bay, Ottawa, GTA, BC, & overseas. For the moment I plan on improving my current projects.
